THE KC Zero Power Latch
Model: ELR-12
The KC Zero Power Latch can hold a trap door open against 40lbs of springs or bungee cords that will pull the door closed. Zero Power means that the latch when set, will not require any battery power to hold the door open. The latch is released when 12Volts DC is momentarily connected to the ELR-12. That means that the battery power source can be much smaller and still extend the time between changing or charging the batteries. The KC Zero Power Latch can be retrofitted to traps that are using the electro-magnet door release. Detailed wiring diagrams and instructions that detail how to do the retrofit can be found at this link to a PDF. We have prewired controllers for the IR Beam breaker trigger and we have a controller that lets you trigger the trap using RF remote control. Long range RF control of up to 200 yards away for line of sight or video monitoring.

Complete Systems
Trap systems with wire harness, ready to go are available. We offer the KC Zero Power Latch in a Long Range, RF trigger Control System and the IR Reflect Trigger System. These trap systems are designed and built in Texas and have a four year warranty on parts and labor. We will repair or replace, and give you quick service.
