5. COUNTING MODE: The time segments can be counted as SECONDS or as MINUTES. This can be switched at anytime without affecting the settings
6. DUAL REACTION Drill: This drill will capture how quickly an athlete can "React" to a tone sounding, and then how fast he can reach a finish mark
THE DUAL REACTION DRILL
This drill is started when an athlete goes to a SET position, stepping onto a Padswitch. Constant pressure on the Padswitch starts a "random time generator" with a time duration of 0.5 to 6 seconds. When it times out, a START tone is sounded. The athlete must keep applying pressure to the Padswitch, releasing only after the START tone sounds. Releasing from the Padswitch, before the START tone is heard will sound an alarm, and a false start is indicated. For a "clean start", the "reaction time" is captured to 1/100th of a second. Releasing from the Padswitch, following a clean start, the 1/100th of a second Stopwatch begins counting up. The Stopwatch time is stopped, and the time captured, when a second trigger is input to the timer. This trigger can be from any devise that has a "close then open" contact output. The time results consist of two captures. First the Reaction Time is displayed, followed by the Finish Time.
TRIGGER DEVICES
The TRIGGER input for the DM1-100 Timer is located on the MAX20 LED Display connection panel. It is a 3 pin XLR female jack. This is a "contact closure" type trigger that consists of momentarily connecting pins 2 and 3 together.
PROGRAMMING A PRACTICE SCHEDULE
The DM1-100 Timer uses a Non-Volatile memory that is saved until you change it. Manually progamming your practice schedule can be done using the DM1-100 keypad. We have a free application, "Program 100", available for your Windows PC. Your schedules can be created on your Windows PC using the app. You can load one of your saved schedules into the DM1-100 when needed. The Program 100 uses a one page User interface that allows copy and paste into the Time windows making schedule setup fast and to the point. This is very effective for a timer that is to be used by more than one training program or for often changing drill schedules.

Coaching Tool
The DM1-100 Timer is a multi-purpose training tool, includes a Stopwatch timer that has a 1/100th of a second resolution that is displayed on the large LED display in the Scrolling format. Designed to assist a coaching staff with features that enhance training drills, like a Play Clock Drill that can be set from 1 to 99 seconds in duration. Give your offense practice working with the clock.
A "presence" on the field, the large LED Display is a visual effect that can raise the practice intensity and take training to the next level!
The MAX20 LED Display with 20 inch numbers counting down, gives your offense "Red Zone" pressure like they will face in a game.
The DM1-100 Timer has an updated Play Clock routine with a press to pause the count and then press again continue the count down to zero.
Use the Stopwatch Timer mode, with the RFTX trigger, as a handheld 1/100th of a second stopwatch. Time results are displayed in a scrolling format that is easy to read. An external trigger input provides interaction with the athlete for drills like the 3 cone drill. The drill can run automatically, resetting for each run.
A Start Gun Timer drill, using the 1/100th of a second timer, adds a Start Gun Tone, that is sounded after a time delay of .5 to 6 seconds. The random time generated begins when the athlete depresses a PADswitch, using hands or foot pressure. When the random time is over, a tone sounds and the athlete can release from the PADswitch. A second timer is started beginning the release time capture, ending when the athlete breaks a IR beam. If the athlete releases from the PADswitch before the tone sounds, a series of false start tones are heard. To fully make use of this drill, the PADswitch and IR reflect beam are available as an option. This time capture routine captures two "times" for each run. The captured times give a true picture of an athletes "reaction ability" and can be used to improve, and focus training for individual athletes. Setting up a drill routine is easy and reliable.

PROGRAM 100 Application
This is a screen shot of the control GUI for the application "Program 100". This application will run on Windows 10, 8 and 7 and it is free of charge. One open serial port is required to connect to the DM1-100 Timer control. The user interface is easy to use, with all entries done in two number text boxes. You can type numbers in or they are text editor friendly allowing copy and paste functions. Six scratchpad memory locations within the application allow you to save and reopen schedules as needed. The GUI gives you a clear view of details about the schedule you are loading into the DM1-100 Timer. It takes seconds to reload a schedule into the DM1-100 Timer. For athletics programs that share a timer system, having the Program 100 application on every coaches PC or laptop gives each one access to their saved practice routines.
